Rape is currently the most important renewable raw material used to manufacture biodiesel. That is why EOP Biodiesel AG is currently focussed on the production of biodiesel from rape oil. The existing facility in Pritzwalk covers the entire production process. The rape that comes in is therefore fully exploited. At the end of the production chain biodiesel is the main product and rape expeller and technical glycerine are by-products. Once we have added a multi-feedstock plant we will also be able to process alternative raw materials.
